TMS Introduced at Dallas Fort Worth Airport

The rubber-tired CX-100 series and INNOVIA people mover systems by Bombardier Transportation Inc. operate on a dedicated guideway and are used to transport people between terminals at the airports. Tire Monitor System was introduced to reduce operating costs and to improve vehicle availability.

A 64-vehicle INNOVIA people mover fleet serves 10 stations on 8 kilometres (5 miles) of dual-lane elevated guideway at Dallas Fort Worth airport.

The image shows the INNOVIA on the test track in Pittsburgh where Bombardier Transportation tried and tested TMS before it was launched.
